Desperate mother stuck in rat-infested house 'cries her eyes' as she goes through 'hell'

A mum says she was moved to tears and wondered if she was 'crazy' following a battle with an infestation of mice and rats in her home.

While her housing provider carried out work to remove pests from the property and claimed there were no more living pests on the property, Amy disagreed, as she said she kept finding fresh droppings.
The single mum-of-two told the Liverpool Echo: 'I have a fridge full of rat droppings underneath. I had to throw out a freezer, my fridge.
"A bunch of my electrical wires are chewed up around my house, my vacuum cleaner, my frying pan. My carpet has urine stains all over it.
"I caught two different types of rodents on this property, mice and rats. I caught one in a trap about two months in my back room, and then the other one I found under the floorboards right next to my bed.
