Disney star Adam Hicks on parole after serving time for robbery
Adam Hicks, the former child star of several Disney movies and TV shows, is living on parole after serving a sentence for second-degree robbery.
Hicks was arrested in 2018 for allegedly organizing a series of armed robberies in Burbank, California, and was eventually sentenced, in July 2021, to 5 years behind bars.
He suffered a major break, however, as the judge awarded him 1,460 days awaiting trial, and he was released in March.
TMZ.comTMZ broke the story... Hicks, who starred in 'Zeke and Luther', 'Pair of Kings' and 'Lemonade Mouth' and his girlfriend Danni Tamburo were arrested after cruising in the area of Burbank and pointed a gun at pedestrians -- taking their cell phones, money and other belongings.
While Hicks got 5 years in prison, her friend got away with 3 years probation.
The actor had shown a history of violence before his arrest: he once shot himself in the leg while hanging out with friends, and court doctors said he was "very little cooperative" with the police.
