Dr. Dre has a lucrative music deal in sight, which would sell the rights to some of his royalties and master recordings...and we're told the price is well over $200 million.
The music mogul is set to sell some of his music assets in two separate deals...one with Shamrock Holdings and the other with Universal Music Group...according to Billboard.< /p>

The possible deal with Shamrock looks like this... Dre is selling his artist royalties on two of his solo albums: his share of the N.W.A artist royalties, plus his producer royalties and the author of the music he does not own publishing rights.
The potential deal with UMG is a little different... Dre is selling the master recording of his first solo album, "The Chronic", plus his share of Kendrick Lamar music.
Interscope Recordings
Dre does not sell all of his music...Billboard characterizes these transactions as "passive income streams" that generate approximately $10 million per year...and he does NOT sell his record label stake, Aftermath.
