Elon Musk is hitting journalists who make a living reporting on the billionaire where he can... silence their Twitter accounts.

The new owner of the Bird app suspends the Twitter accounts of journalists from major news outlets such as The New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN, as well as freelancers and people who report for Mashable and The Intercept.

Among those losing their ability to tweet about Elon... CNN's Donie O'Sullivan, WaPo's Drew Harwell, Mashable's Matt Binder, NYT's Ryan Mac, The Intercept's Micah Lee, plus Keith Olbermann and Aaron Rupar.

A lot of people who got the boot wrote and tweeted critically about Elon...but the thing is, Musk owns Twitter so he can do whatever he wants with his private company.
