Eurovision 2023: Government pledges £10m for Liverpool song contest

Local authorities in Liverpool have already committed £4 million in funding.
Around 3,000 tickets for the song contest will also be made available Ukrainians living in the UK.
Liverpool are hosting the event at their M&S Bank Arena on behalf of Ukraine, whose Kalush Orchestra won the show from 2022, as the war means he cannot take on hosting duties.
This will be the first Eurovision Song Contest to be held at the UK for 25 years.
