Everything Rishi Sunak promised in the Tory leadership election is up for review and could be scrapped, Downing Street admitted today.

In a bizarre development, No10 would not commit to anything the Prime Minister promised Tory members just three months ago.

He has already abandoned promises to fine patients £10 for missed NHS appointments and hold migrants on cruise ships.

Mr. Sunak also flip-flopped and reimposed the fracking ban despite some support in the summer.

Asked today whether each of the leadership campaign promises should be reviewed, the Prime Minister's press secretary replied: 'We are reviewing them all and wondering if the time has come...to move them forward."

She said the PM was "considering them all, taking the time to make sure what was deliverable" because they were done "months ago now".

The press secretary said Mr Sunak would meet with all cabinet ministers to discuss the pledges.

She added, "When it comes to campaign promises, we review them all and make sure the right decisions are made at the right time."

The press secretary added that he kept "the promise" of the 2019 manifesto - but declined to say he kept all the promises in it.

The admission is likely to fuel renewed calls for an election after the Conservatives became the first government party since World War II to change leaders twice without an election.
