Fat Joe's latest set of stories has brought him into the crosshairs of Luther "Uncle Luke" Campbell...who disagrees with Joe's recollection of a key Florida rap timeline.< /p>

Joe was a guest on Math Hoffa's "My Expert Opinion" this summer -- where he claimed to have been the first co-signer of future legends Trick Daddy and Pitbull...and turned their early demos into launches. successful careers -- like the Don, he says he is.

Joe also took credit for blasting fellow Bronx rapper French Montana - but the 2 Live Crew founder, who just stumbled upon the interview, couldn't stand the comments from Pitbull and TD and rummaged through his bag of receipts... which Rick Ross found rather amusing.

He actually commented under the long caption of Luke, laughing at his selection of words.

uncle luke rich forever

Anyway, Luke says it was HE who put Trick Daddy -- via their collaboration on the 1996 anthem "Scarred" -- recorded just as TD came home from prison and started his career...suggesting that FJ was full of for pretending he found out.

The proud Miami native said the same for Pitbull... noting that he signed the Cuban megastar to his Luke Records imprint during his career, which happened in 2001.
