"When a troubled ex-cop is forced to return to his home state of Florida to track down the runaway girlfriend of a Philadelphia mobster in what should be a gig fast becomes a spiraling journey into buried family secrets, and an increasingly futile attempt to do the right thing in a place where so much is wrong,” reads the logline.

The series is produced by Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan for their Aggregate Films banner as part of their first deal with the streamer. The project marks Ramirez's final collaboration with Netflix after starring in the films The Last Days of American Crime and Yes Day.
