Fluence strikes deal to take Brazil's psychedelic therapy training scene to new heights

Psychedelic therapy training company Fluence partners with non-profit research organization Phaneros Institute based in Brazil.

Fluence will grant Phaneros access to its educational content through its online learning management system. An additional version of the training material translated into Brazilian Portuguese will also be available.

Phaneros, established in 2011 by Eduardo Schenberg, PhD, recently completed a pilot study related to MAPS' advanced research into MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD.

The company is also working to gain approval for new studies to accelerate access to these therapies in the South American country.

Fluence co-founder Elizabeth Nielson hailed the partnership and "the opportunity to help integrate psychedelic therapy into mainstream health care in Brazil."

Phaneros will receive "the tools it needs to effectively train therapists, resulting in the wider dissemination of the practice of research-based psychedelic therapy," it said. she declared.

Schenberg provided more details on a jointly launched ketamine therapy course in Brazil.
