Former Neighbors star Holly Valance backs Reform UK in next general election

Former Neighbors star Holly Valance has said she will vote for Reform UK in the next election, just a month after backing Jacob Rees Mogg as the next Prime Minister minister.

The 40-year-old Australian actress, known for her role as Felicity “Flick” Scully, said she voted Conservative in 2019 but will now switch allegiance to Richard's party Tice.

Speaking on GB News's political podcast Chopper, she said: "Last time I voted [for] the Conservatives, next time I Will vote Reform."

She also revealed that she wanted former Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage, who is honorary chairman of Reform UK, to lead the party.

When asked about the defection of Tory MP Lee Anderson last week, she replied: "Yes... I support anyone who sticks to what they believe in, who don't turn around and don't do it." a million flip-flops and U-turns.

"So I have respect for that, even for the weirdos on the other side, if you stick to what you believe and that you keep saying it over years and years. , I can still respect that.

“I may not agree with you, but I understand that more than change of opinion and the reversal and never having conviction. I think people are fed up with that.

Mr Anderson, former vice - Conservative chairman and MP for Ashfield, was sitting as an independent after being suspended for suggesting that London Mayor Sadiq Khan was controlled by Islamist extremists.

Last month, Ms Valance attended the launch of Liz Truss's Popular Conservatism movement in London and also went to Boris and Carrie Johnson's wedding in the Cotswolds in July 2022 with her property tycoon husband Nick Candy.
