The United States Department of State is offering rewards to anyone with information leading directly to the arrest of other al-Qaeda terrorists after killing notorious leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.

U.S. officials confirmed that Osama Bin Laden's second-in-command, Al Zawahiri, was killed on Sunday, but there are still many other wanted al-Qaeda members who may be next on the blacklist .

Al Zawahiri was killed in a CIA drone strike in Kabul, Afghanistan, when two Hellfire missiles were fired at him as he walked on the balcony of a safe house where he was living with members of his family, a US official said.

The 71-year-old has become one of the most wanted in the United States for his role in planning the horrific attacks of September 11.

The bloodthirsty terrorist leader had a $25m (£20m) bounty on his head for anyone who provided information leading directly to his arrest or death.

It is not known whether public information led to his assassination.

Sirajuddin Haqqani

The US State Department's second highest Most Wanted Terrorist award is $10m (£8.2m). It's for another al-Qaeda member who was protecting al-Zawahiri's family.

Sirajuddin Haqqani is wanted for his involvement in the January 2008 attack on a hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan that killed six people, including a US citizen.
