A furious Tesla owner claims he was kicked out of his car remotely and would have to pay $26,000 (£22,783) for a new battery before he could access it.

Mario Zelaya was furious after his $140,000 (£122,678) Tesla auto-locked after the battery ran out.

Mario explained that he planned to sell the car because he didn't want to pay the ridiculous price for a new battery.

Unfortunately, he couldn't because the proof of ownership documents were inside the car, which had automatically locked.

Some viewers suggested he try dismantling the car, but he explained that he didn't have time for that.
