Gayle King calls T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach's case 'very complicated'

Gayle King weighs in on the T.J. Holmes/Amy Robach drama, calling the whole situation a “botched mess” – but insists she isn’t relishing the crunch of her morning TV competition.

The 'CBS Mornings' co-host dropped her 2 cents Thursday night on 'Watch What Happens Live'...after Andy Cohen kicked it off by asking her what she thinks of 'the hell goes wild" at "GMA".

Gayle said, "I look at the situation and say it's very interesting what's going on there. It just got very messy and very sloppy."

She gave props to ABC and "GMA" executives for their original stance of letting 2 consenting adults stay on the air, but then added... "The more you read, it's just very complicated."

Gayle didn't accuse Amy and T.J. of cheating on their spouses - an allegation they denied - but she said, "I think, to me, it's just a sad situation because you guys have kids involved, families involved, and I keep thinking about that."
