Giancarlo Esposito Teases Moff Gideon's Mandalorian Return

The Mandalorian star Giancarlo Esposito has teased that his character, Moff Gideon, will be returning to the popular Disney+ series in the near future.

On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Esposito revealed that "chances are good" that Moff Gideon will be on the show soon and that he filmed so long ago that he can't remember in which episode it could appear .

"There's a good chance you'll see me soon. That's all I can say," Esposito teased. "The show is just a fantastic show. They want the audience to be in anticipation , the wonder, the joy and the excitement. I did it so long ago that - I have to be honest with you - I can't even remember. I can't remember when I'm on. "

"The Mandalorian's journeys across the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu," reads the synopsis. "Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to keep the galaxy of its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together."

The Season 3 lineup includes returning filmmakers Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, and Bryce Dallas Howard, plus Star Wars newcomers Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider- Verse) and Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison.

The Mandalorian comes from executive producers Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck. Favreau is also set as showrunner.
