Truss refuses to give advice on property purchases

Liz Truss smiled when asked what advice she would give to someone considering buying a home in the current climate - saying it's not her job.

The shameless Prime Minister also appeared to blame the rise in interest rates on the Bank of England and claimed global global economic pressure was to blame for the UK's woes - although none no other currency falls to the same extent.

When asked why she chose to lift the bonus cap for bankers rather than increase Universal Credit, the PM said she would make "no apologies" for wanting the city to London succeeds.
