Russia: A child cries when his father leaves to fight
A Russian child bursts into tears as he bids farewell to his father who was drafted to fight in Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
The heartbreaking video was reportedly shot in the town of Staryi Oskol, in the Russian region of Belogrod, before being shared on the Telegram messaging app.
In the harrowing clip, the child can be heard crying and shouting "Daddy" as a mass waits to take the crowd of men of fighting age to war.
This comes after reports emerged claiming that the 300,000 civilians drafted to fight for Putin are a gross understatement and that the warlord is actually planning to send a million Russians to fight.
After Wednesday's announcement, lines of cars lined up at the border as desperate citizens tried to escape the draft.
Similar scenes were recorded at Moscow airport, where the departure lounges are filled with young men trying to flee.

BBC News)Hundreds of thousands of young men and former soldiers will now be called up and sent to the battlefield in Russian President Vladimir Putin's war against Ukraine.
Despite an order prohibiting those under 65 from leaving the country, many are believed to have crossed into Georgia and Finland as people pack up and flee to avoid being drafted.
However, airlines and train companies have reportedly stopped sales to male passengers in this age group.
