The holiday season is launched in full swing. The United Nations Children's Fund, or UNICEF, raised more than $3.5 million at its annual gala at the Glasshouse on November 29. Over 800 people attended, including Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alyssa Milano and Demi Lovato, who performed four songs.
The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater held a holiday gala on November 30 with a one-night-only performance at New York City Center, followed by a party at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. There was dancing, naturally, after dinner.
And Nordstrom kicked off the holiday with ice skating and cocktails at Wollman Rink in Central Park on the 1st december. Brooke Shields posed with Santa Claus, Natasha Lyonne, watched the candy cane station, and a few spunky influencers were strapping on skates and taking selfies.
