"How opera changed my life after homelessness"

Around 100 people who have experienced homelessness are due to perform an opera some of re them have written.

Residents of Nottingham, Manchester and London will take part in performances organized by the charity Streetwise, an opera company which works with people who have been homeless.

Performances will take place in the three cities starting March 20.

They will be accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra and The Sixteen Choir.

The production is designed to help participants gain confidence and rebuild their life.
