I have the highest standards for shoes - these mango pairs pass every test

I'm picky about a lot of things, but there's nothing that interests me more than shoes. You wouldn't know it among the 50 pairs of heels, boots, sneakers, and sandals that are currently piled high in my closet (and elsewhere), but I tend to nitpick a seemingly perfect pair until I want them. more - that is, unless the shoes are perfect. Then I'll be the first to say, "I'll take them."

So I was shocked when I found at Mango (a place where I rarely buy shoes) so many styles that ticked each of my boxes. Normally, I'll see a pair in one of the brand's two stores in New York, look at them for a moment, then walk away. This time, leaving wasn't even an option.
