This week we asked over 1,000 Benzinga visitors the following question about investing in altcoins: If you had $1,000 right now, would you buy Dogecoin DOGE/ USD, Shiba Inu SHIB/USD, Ethereum Classic? ETC/USD or Bitcoin Cash BCH/USD?

Shiba Inus: 34.9% Dogecoins: 40.3% Classic Ethereum: 16.7% Bitcoin Silver: 8.1%

Price Action:

Ethereum-blockchain based Shiba Inu is 27.00% higher at $0.00001503 in the past week.

Original meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin is up 10.78% to $0.0977 over the past week.

Bitcoin Cash, which emerged after a disagreement over Bitcoin's block size, rose 4.81% to around $139.28 over the past week.< /p>

Meanwhile, Ethereum Classic, the original version of the Ethereum blockchain, is up 10.07% to $24.01 over the past week.
