In his dream, a premonition then a double proposal

Kiyona Carswell and Alison Wynn's relationship status remained casual for years until a series of coincidences, accidental encounters and a vision knowledge brings them closer.< /p>

It took two different dating apps, two cities, a pandemic and more than two post-breakup breakups for Kiyona Carswell and Alison Wynn to realize that 'they were finally serious about each other.

"A lot of people don't make me laugh," Ms. Carswell said, but Ms. Wynn's dry humor on Tinder hooked up Ms. Carswell for a first date, leaving her 'in love'.

In December 2016, after their first messages on Tinder, they decided to meet in person at a Cha Cha Matcha cafe in Lower Manhattan, where they both experienced several firsts. For Ms. Wynn, 32, a design program manager at Intuit in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania, it was her first Tinder date. For Ms Carswell, 30, a model and early intervention specialist at a genetics agency in Philadelphia, it was about trying a matcha drink she "hated but drank anyway" to impress Ms Wynn. /p>

After five hours, the date was about to end, but as soon as Ms. Carswell left, Ms. Wynn texted, "Come back" . The date continued for three straight days, after which the couple recalled "talking for hours" and exploring new sights in Manhattan.

Au as their time together progressed, the couple categorized their relationship as a "situation", a romantic arrangement that goes beyond casual dating but is not a committed relationship.

During their separation, the couple had this clairsentience of "knowing" that they would cross paths even if they did not communicate. Ms. Carswell has traveled widely, but a series of coincidences seemed to follow them.

These fateful encounters included chance encounters at social gatherings hosted by mutual friends they didn't know how to share, unexpected sightings at the Brooklyn Museum meeting finale at the World Trade Center's Oculus, where Ms. Wynn shouted, "What is she doing here?" to her friend who pointed Ms. Carswell out of a crowd and asked, "Isn't that the girl?"

"I just got back from Singapore and I lived in Brooklyn, and Alison just moved to New Jersey, so how were we at the Oculus at the same time?" Ms. Carswell said.
