The building in question is the Grade I listed gatehouse and arrival arch built on the vast estate of Fonthill in Wiltshire by William Beckford in 1755

Now the owners of the pub just down the road have joined forces with Fonthill owner Lord Margadale to create a unique place to stay.

Spread over three floors connected by a stone spiral staircase, it can accommodate four adults - although two will turn off their lights in full size, bespoke. made bunk beds.
