'It's in the middle of nowhere.'

We are outside Inverness station. Our train has been canceled and we tell the driver of the replacement rail bus that we need to go to Kinbrace, a tiny village 80 miles north of Inverness.

When we arrive we quickly realize that the driver is absolutely right. But our journey does not end there. My partner and I are heading to somewhere in the middle of nowhere in the middle of nowhere - Garvault House, the most secluded hotel in mainland Britain (it's even signposted above the door). p>
