Inter interested in Folarin Balogun

Having given up trying to sign Romelu Lukaku on a permanent deal from Chelsea, Inter Milan have turned their attention to Arsenal's Folarin Balogun, according to Sky Sports.

Reportedly valued at £50million at the age of 22, Balogun is obviously a talented striker, but his future at Arsenal is in serious question, with Gabriel Jesus, Eddie Nketiah, and now potentially even Kai Havertz to face the place in the starting XI.

Balogun recently switched his international allegiance from England to the United States, and he hopes to make the squad for the 2026 World Cup which is being played across North America. He will be aware his chances will improve dramatically if he manages to clinch a starting spot at a top European club, and last season's Champions League finalists look set to offer him a real chance without Lukaku or Edin. Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta wasn't ready to say much when asked about Balogun's future.

"We'll see what happens," he said.
