Jessa Duggar has revealed she had a miscarriage with husband Ben Seewald. The reality star reached out to her on Friday, Feb. 24, to update her fans on the loss of their fifth child in a clip titled "Heartbreak Over the Holidays." Going into more detail, Jessa said the couple went to the hospital to make sure they were okay after suffering unusual pain from morning sickness . Jessa explained how the ultrasound technician then did some tests and told the couple, “The bag looks good. The baby does not. She added, "Nothing could have prepared me for the weight of those words at that time."

"Just as they were taking me back [to the operating room], I just wanted to ask them, like, 'Can I have another ultrasound? 'Please? 'Please someone check it out, make sure," she continued in the video. "I had all these fears that they might have gotten it wrong. … You know it's irrational, but you're just scared After the procedure, Jessa said she had a "hollow feeling inside" because "the life that was inside you is no longer there and you never got to see your baby and say goodbye."
