Joe Joyce crushes Joseph Parker with stunning knockout after grueling war

Joe Joyce did what Anthony Joshua, Dillian Whyte and Andy Ruiz Jr couldn't by becoming the first man to knock out Joseph Parker tonight after eleven grueling rounds of action.

At the time of the knockout, Joyce was leading on all three scorecards after impressing massively with a relentless display. After a brilliant start from Parker, Joyce came into her own as the rounds progressed, consistently beating the Kiwi with a thump.

Parker found himself on the ropes for the majority of the contest but never gave in to pressure from Joyce. Despite fatigue mid-fight, the former WBO heavyweight champion continued to explode into the corners with vicious left hooks and overhand rights.

However, Joyce - known for his granite chin - absorbed every shot with nothing more than a wink.

The Juggernaut made a massive breakthrough on the sixth landing with a huge left hook that knocked Parker out and opened a deep cut above his right eye. From there, Joyce increased the intensity and began to overwhelm his enemy with deafening blows to the head and body.

Parker fired back but in the eleventh round he was caught with another massive left hook that sent him falling into the corner post where he was counted out by referee Steve Gray.

After the fight, Joyce took the microphone to congratulate his brave opponent in a humble speech: "It was a tough fight and congratulations to Joseph Parker because he improved and gave me a tough fight I really enjoyed it, it was tough in there and I had to dig deep to get through the rounds."

With this victory, Joyce sends a stern message to all men in the heavyweight division and establishes himself as an elite level fighter. According to promoter Frank Warren, Joyce will fight for a world title in the UK in 2023 after a well deserved rest and recovery.
