Karla Welch talks about working with Amazon Style and Styling for awards season

Karla Welch brings her styling expertise to Amazon Style.

The famous fashion designer, who works with Olivia Wilde, Tracee Ellis Ross, Hailey and Justin Bieber and others, is teaming up with the e-commerce giant for its Color Me Curated pop-up at Americana at Brand in Glendale, Calif., which offers shoppers free color analysis consultations where they determine which color palette seasonal color is the most flattering for them. Amazon Style has also teamed up with color expert Mariana Marques, who specializes in color analysis, for the initiative. The pop-up works from Tuesday to Friday.

Once buyers have received their color analysis consultation, they can purchase Welch Collections organized for each seasonal color palette to the pop-up window.

Welch has selected women's and men's pieces for the four seasonal collections of brands carried by Amazon Style, including Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Levi's, Equipment, Rebecca Taylor, Theory and many more.

"I always like to think about what my perfect wardrobe is knowing that people don't don't have tons of time or want to spend tons of money on clothes, but they want to feel good, so I really tried to focus on that,” Welch said of the selection process. "[The collection offers] accessibility and timelessness, but really fashion pieces and there are some really fun accessories to splurge on."

The Amazon Style pop-up arrives a few weeks before Welch hits the thick of the season awards, where she will style her clients for upcoming film and television awards ceremonies beginning in early January with the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
