Kid Cudi, 38, says he's nearing the end of his music career

Kid Cudi, 38, may soon be done with music. The rapper has revealed he's "sort of nearing the end" of his music career, in an in-depth new interview on First We Feast's Hot Ones series. He was promoting his new album, Entergalactic during the show and ate hot chicken wings while answering a number of questions.

"I don't feel like I have what they have," he said, referring to the longevity of a music career like that by Jay Z. “I just don't know if I want to make music, release albums too long, you know? I'm kinda nearing the end of everything Kid Cudi, I think."

He went on to explain that he would like to try another career and already had one in mind: teaching. "I'm really curious to see what else I can do. I was thinking about it – and it's like a wacky idea I had years ago," he said. "But it would be cool, for example, to be a kindergarten teacher one day. And do that for a few years."

"Like, when I'm, like, 50…and I, like, infect young people with that freshness," he continued. "Make them young, and then those children will sprinkle freshness into the world, and I'll just say, 'Yes! Yes!"

When Kid Cudi doesn't get attention for talking about his music career and possible future career as a teacher, he does it for his photos on social networks. In August, he shared a black-and-white photo of himself posing for , including one in which he was completely naked except for a sock that covered his crotch. It drew a lot of comments from fans once it went viral and many were filled with compliments. "I love this man so much," wrote one fan while another shared that everyone was "blessed" to have him in the music industry.
