King Charles and Liz Truss met on Sunday after midday hundreds of dignitaries from around the world travel to London to pay their respects to the Queen.

Taoiseach Mr Martin said the meeting with Ms Truss had been 'warm' but he refrained from discussing the controversial issue of Northern Irish Protocol.

"I don't think now is the time, if you don't mind, to go into detail on issues such as protocol," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
