Hotel staff can now be broadcast live in the penthouse and presidential suites of the legendary property. to offer customer service tips and advice via a portable holographic communications device called "The M" from Los Angeles-based Proto.

The Manager The hotel's general manager, Reed Kandalaft, explained that members of the guest experience team stand in front of a camera in a guest room that has been converted into a "studio", with their portrait then beamed into one of the specialized guest suites.

He said: “The M makes the digital experience 'real' and redefines the way we work with effective and engaging solutions, allowing the customer experience team to show and see the emotion behind every interaction.

Guests designate a time for the interaction, which takes place on a 21.5-inch screen, with staff and guest able to see each other and communicate in real time. “to review the day’s itinerary, suite capabilities and more,” Proto said.
