Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Preview, USA Soccer Top of Mind

The Macy's Thanksgiving Parade is fast approaching and it looks like the Team USA World Cup race is about to explode along 6th Avenue.

The giant balls and floats that will be paraded through and around New York on Thursday are ready for action, with a few glimpses showing us exactly what lies ahead...including a patriotic soccer player going for goal .

One of the newest and biggest attractions is this inflatable footballer who is in the middle of a bike kick...definitely a nod to the United States Men's National Team United who is currently in Qatar trying to compete for the coveted FIFA trophy.

Other balloons that stand out... a large Ronald McDonald, a green dinosaur and his babies, Snoopy (classic), Papa Smurf, a Minion and others.

Of course, there are traditional parade floats getting their finishing touches - and, yes, it's all about publicity! Black Friday is the day after, after all...and these companies don't want you to forget it. This includes Wonder Bread, Toys "R" Us, "Baby Shark" (the show), and of course...Macy's. There's also a Slumberland super tank, à la "Little Nemo".

Finally... BTS plans for the rehearsal that was underway this week, with all the talent working on the flaws in the dark of night. Artists such as Jimmy Fallon, Black Thought, Jordin Sparks, Paula Abdul, Joss Stone, Sean Paul, Lea Michelle and many more were in attendance.

Looks like it's going to be a great show!
