Devastating wildfires scorched for days in Rhodes, Greece, a popular vacation spot, and sent visitors running into the sea or flee across the island for their safety

TUI has announced it is suspending a number of Rhodes holidays until next month, amid the devastating wildfires raging across the Greek island.
With EasyJet, the German travel agency was the only holiday group to help holidaymakers caught in hell.
While EasyJet was operating repatriation flights, TUI initially canceled all flights to the island, originally until tomorrow, but this has now been extended.
TUI is no longer operating flights to Rhodes until Friday 28 July and is not operating vacations for Rhodes customers to hotels that have been affected by the fires - mainly in the south of the island - until August 11 inclusive.
This comes as just today a plane sent to fight the flames burning across Rhodes crashed into the ground, killing two people.
