A man has been charged with murdering his girlfriend days after he made a public plea for her return.
Vincent Carlino, 37, was arrested after the body of his partner Shereen Kumar was found by police in Sydney, Australia.
She was found a short distance from the couple's home yesterday after she went missing on Wednesday evening.
Yesterday, Mr. Carlino was taken into police custody in connection with his death.
In the days leading up to the discovery of Ms. Kumar's body, the suspect had pleaded for information about her whereabouts.

Facebook)He told the Daily Mail that Ms Kumar walked out without saying anything and said he did not know where she was.
Mr. Carlino said his partner left around 9 p.m. Wednesday and hasn't been in touch since.
He claimed, "She left and didn't take her phone or the van. I'm extremely worried.
"I told the police all the places I think she might be."
