A man from Virginia, US has described himself as an 'easygoing adventurer' on dating apps, despite stabbing a stranger more than 50 times in a mad attack.

37-year-old Pankaj Bhasin, also known as the 'Werewolf Slayer', stabbed a 65-year-old man he did not know, Brad Jackson, more than 50 times in Alexandria in July 2018, after allegedly claiming he believed the victim to be a mythical creature.

Jackson, who was the manager of a window shop in Old Town Alexandria, was savagely attacked, had his neck broken and stabbed with a box cutter.

At a trial in 2019, Bhasin was found not guilty by reason of insanity, as his defense argued he had suffered a psychotic breakdown during the shocking attack.

There are now concerns that Pankaj Bhasin's profile is blatantly lying about his past, as it states he 'recently returned from two years of travel'

For the past three years, he has been followed in a mental health facility. But, in July, he was released on bail, part of the conditions of his release being that he wear a GPS monitor, take medication and receive home visits from mental health workers.

Recently, it was revealed that Bhasin had changed his Facebook profile. He claims he was "out of town" for the past few years.

In fact, on the social media site, he wrote that he "recently returned from two years of travelling", and described himself as an "easygoing adventurer who believes in universal connection".< /p>
