Manchester United legend Eric Cantona launches sports art exhibition

The former star of Manchester United Eric Cantona has launched an exhibition on the sports heroes and their impact on society.

The soccer legend helped organize the show, which also features performances by artist Michael Browne from soccer icon Diego Maradona, boxer Muhammad Ali and Olympian Jesse Owens.

Browne said he wanted to highlight those " who have fought against injustice around the world".

Cantona said he hopes the display will pique the interest of children.

The 56-year-old said he wanted the sports-themed artwork at the National Football Museum in Manchester to introduce young people to more issues broads of society.
