A man has been faced with an embarrassing dilemma after another female passenger on the plane hung her long hair over her TV screen during the seven-hour flight.

Adam, 57, was flying to Montreal on Tuesday when he soon realized his view of in-flight entertainment was clouded by long, curly locks.

The question of what he should do next prompted dozens of responses and thousands of likes on Twitter, reports Wales Online.

Friendly Niamh Lewis wrote: "I feel for the girl it's hard to have long thick curly hair in general, worse on a flight."

But her kind comment was countered by fellow Twitter user Amanda Yeardsley, who said, "Are you kidding me? I have thick curly hair, I've been wearing it long for most of my life and I've never felt the need or been rude and selfish enough to do that."

Jorge wrote, "Have happened to me on a few flights. You might accidentally close the tray on the hair. Always creates fun when it's time to disembark."

Similarly, user kleiner_Junge added, "I had this on a long haul flight a few months ago. Trapping it in the bin works well."

Other comments included "I have a little phobia of other people's hair...I should ask them to move it" and "Tell Mick Hucknall to be more considerate of other people."

Fortunately, the situation was resolved peacefully after the fine art and architectural photographer politely reported the issue to the woman.
