Presten Boydstun, 22 , found himself becoming increasingly depressed while in the Marines, dealing with the deaths of several friends.

Having to make a change in his life, Presten, who had been in the Marine Corps in San Diego for four years, decided to take the plunge and buy a one-way ticket to Australia to work on a cattle farm.

'I was having a tough time with some of my friends passing away,' Presten told Insider.
