Martin Lewis issues 8-day warning to anyone with a Tesco Clubcard before vouchers expire

Martin Lewis has warned £13m worth of Tesco Clubcard vouchers will expire in just eight days.

The MoneySavingExpert explained how all vouchers issued in November 2020 will expire on November 30, 2022.

Clubcard vouchers are issued every three months, in February, May, August and November. These are then normally valid for two years.

"Check if you have [vouchers to use] on Tesco.com/Clubcard or via the app," Martin said during his Martin Lewis Money Show Live broadcast on ITV.

You need a minimum of 150 points to get a Clubcard voucher, worth £1.50 to spend at Tesco.

There's a way to triple your points if you redeem them with over 100 "reward partners" including Thorpe Park, Pizza Express and the RAC.

Shoppers can also use their vouchers to reduce the cost of their festive store, on fuel or with Tesco Mobile.

You can check if you have forgotten any Clubcard points by logging into the Tesco Clubcard website with your account details.

But there's a trick to extending your vouchers, if you're not quite ready to spend them yet, Martin explained.

It involves making a small purchase with your Clubcard vouchers, then the remaining balance is credited back to your account with another two years.
