Royals must remain silent and avoid 'tit-for-tat arguments' despite Harry and Meghan's claims

The Royal Family will stick together, avoiding a tit-for-tat feud after the release of part two of the Harry and Meghan documentary, The Mirror can reveal.

An insider said that despite the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's "amazing claims", the Royal Family will "keep a dignified silence" and not comment on the show.

A royal source said: "Some startling claims have been made, but the family is determined to stick together and maintain a dignified silence.

"They won't be dragged into a tit for tat row."

In the latest Netflix documentary, Harry says he was 'terrified' of his brother as William threw an angry outburst and claimed his father Charles had lied to him, as he tried to negotiate to leave his royal role.

For the first time, Harry claimed it was his decision to step back as a member of the royal family, and not that of his wife, but accused palace officials working for the king and the Prince of Wales for deliberately leaking "negative" information to make him and his wife look bad.

But tonight William and the King stood together as they were joined by the Princess of Wales, the Queen Consort, George and Charlotte and other members of the Royal Family for his annual 'Together at Christmas" at Westminster Abbey.
