Meta advertises Meta Verified for $12 per month

Elon Musk previously launched Twitter Blue, a paid blue tick on Twitter and now Facebook is doing something similar with meta verified.

Meta Verified is a new paid subscription service for Facebook, it will cost $11.99 on web and $14.99 on iOS, the news was announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Hello and New Product Announcement: This week we're starting to roll out Meta Verified, a subscription service that allows you to verify your account with government ID, get a badge blue and get additional identity theft protection against accounts pretending to be you and get direct access to customer support. This new feature aims to increase the authenticity and security of our services. Meta Verified starts at $11.99/mo on the web or $14.99/mo on iOS. We will be rolling out this week in Australia and New Zealand, and soon in other countries.

In addition to a blue verification badge, subscribers will gain access to a range of exclusive features, which will include story and reel stickers and more
