Must-See Trailer For Impressive African Neo-Western Horror 'Saloum'

Saloum Trailer

“He's up to something. break- feature film by Congolese director Jean Luc Herbulot. This premiered in Midnight Madness at TIFF 2021 last year and rocked many other genre festivals including Fantastic Fest and Beyond Fest. I fell in love with this one, one of the most creative and badass African films that paved the way for a new wave of African cinema. The film is set in the West African nation of Senegal, on the delta known as Saloum. The film follows a trio of mercenaries escorting an alien drug trafficker through dangerous lands. Not only is the film full of vibrant, often neon styles expressed through bright, distinct colors and costumes, it changes genres in part and dips a bit into action horror. With Yann Gael, Evelyne Ily Juhen, Roger Sallah, Mentor Ba and Bruno Henry. Yeah, this movie is awesome and you need to take some time to watch it because it will rock your TV as soon as you hit play.

Here is the official US trailer (+ teaser poster) of Saloum by Jean Luc Herbulot, live from YouTube:
