MutableAI (YC W22) Hires Founding Engineer to Build First AI Development Platform

As a Full Stack Founding Software Engineer, you will be among the first recruits to work alongside the Founder. You should be driven by our mission and up to the challenge of finding PMF on the ground floor of a YC and enterprise-backed startup.

You will have the opportunity to build a high-performance technology stack deployed across multiple channels (Jupyter, VSCode, GitHub, PyCharm, etc.) that accelerates programming speed for developers around the world.

Once our product becomes available across multiple channels (especially your favorite IDE), product dogfooding will become a critical part of the role and one that will help us reach PMF faster.

You don't need to know machine learning, but you should have a strong desire to learn on the job working alongside our Founder and CEO, who is a former researcher at DeepMind, Google SWE, Siri ML engineer and theoretical physicist.

Terms Extremely efficient and autonomous builder 5+ years of experience building and owning a complete end-to-end technology stack (Frontend + Backend + Cloud + CI/CD) 3+ years of familiarity with Python and Typescript 1+ years of AWS experience Strong product sense and customer-centric mindset Strong communication skills for remote work Overlap with US hours and possibility to meet in person once per quarter Prime Familiarity with machine learning Comfortable with meta-programming (AST, macros, etc.) or have a strong desire and ability to learn Familiarity with Rust or Go
