My Roommate and I Have Completely Different Styles - 5 Trends We Both Love

Every time the word "roommate" enters the chat, it becomes very clear that the conversation will end in either a complete horror story or an absolute dream. I'm lucky to say that I'm one of the lucky ones who shocks everyone with praise about my roommate. (Shh, don't tell him.) The chances of us meeting on Facebook Marketplace, having two FaceTime calls, and deciding to move into an apartment in New York a month later were pretty slim. But we beat the odds and now share an air fryer, one too many TikTok videos and a jam-packed shoe rack. I often find myself on her doorstep, ready to tell her about my workday, the latest celebrity gossip, and most importantly, my favorite fashion finds. And while my roommate and I have a shocking amount of common interests, when it comes to fashion, we're on completely different ends of the spectrum. Having the same style would have been too good to be true, but instead of mourning the fact that we can't share our wardrobes, we decided to see where (if any) our fashion interests intersect and of researching summer trends that we both can't get enough of. After several discarded hangers, a few fashion items and multiple product links, we finally settled on five trends.

She's a 25-year-old who loves iced coffee, modest fashion, and New York's historic buildings. I would describe his style as laid back, classic, yet unexpected. I can never really predict what she'll wear when I hear her keys ringing at our door, but I always know she'll stick to her personal style no matter what's on the market. But I digress.
