As ministers flee the sinking ship that is Boris Johnson's cabinet, Nadine Dorries stands firmly by the Prime Minister's side.

In an effort to congratulate Nadhim Zahawi on his new role as chancellor, Dorries appeared confused as she tweeted about his certain success as health secretary. It was quickly deleted, but it didn't go unnoticed.

Dorries' recent string of iconic idiocies have made the Culture Secretary more known for her blunders than her governance.

The Culture Secretary seemed just as confused as we were about the cabinet reshuffle.

Following Nadhim Zahawi's appointment as Chancellor, she tweeted: "He came to the UK as a refugee who spoke no English and who knew nothing but to succeed through thick and thin. He will deliver for health the same way he delivered for vaccines and education. A senior cabinet minister. Congratulations my friend."

Not ideal. And his confusion over the news doesn't seem to end there.
