To create a Beam Wallet, the user accesses the app's website, which generates a unique QR code representing an Optimism address. After that, users can show their QR code to anyone who wants to send them crypto. They can also click on the QR code to copy the address so it can be sent via email or instant messaging apps. The web application can be accessed from a desktop or mobile device.
To save their wallet, users need to click "register access" and log in to Twitter through its application programming interface. They then click on “save access” a second time and are prompted to enter a new password. After submitting the password, the account backup is complete and then the user can recover their account with their Twitter ID and password if their device crashes.
