The New Zealander, 57, succeeds the former County Championship head coach Matthew Maynard and limited-overs leader Mark Alleyne.

Welsh County had already signaled its intention to return to a single coach for all formats.

"Having the opportunity to coaching Glamorgan is a huge honor and privilege," Bradburn said.

"My simple goal is to create a winning environment with a great culture.

"Together we will quickly identify a cricket brand across all formats that most importantly inspires players and , in turn, encourages everyone within the club to be enthusiastic and proud of our teams."

Bradburn signed a two-year contract with Pakistan in May 2023, but left after missing the World Cup semi-finals.

The former Test player had previously served as Pakistan's on-field coach and Scotland's head coach between 2014 and 2018.

He will officially take over as Glamorgan head coach on February 1.

"With international experience and a passion for player and staff development, I'm really looking forward to immersing myself alongside our Glamorgan coaching network to develop quality players within our programs," Bradburn said.

"I am not taking on this role in the hope of competing in the county championship. I will bring the desire for Glamorgan to be a contender in all formats and look forward to meeting everyone at the club soon.

"I will bring a fresh perspective which I think will be healthy for the club."

Glamorgan Director of Cricket, Mark Wallace had led the search for a unique head coach to lead the county in all formats in 2024.

The role had been split in 2023 as Maynard led the Championship team while Alleyne took charge of the shorter formats.

Maynard resigned, along with general manager Hugh Morris, after a disappointing 2023 at Sophia Gardens.

"We "We are delighted to have a coach of the quality of Grant Bradburn joining us at Glamorgan for the next three years at least," Wallace said.

"He has extensive experience as a coach and in the high performance field and will bring great contribution to the club from top to bottom."

Following the departure of Maynard, former goalkeeper Glamorgan ticket office manager Tom Cullen said the county had been held back by its allocation policy...
