2023: Atiku will not marginalize Southerners – PDP candidate Aderinokun
People's Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate in Ogun Central, Olumide Aderinokun, has allayed fears that PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar will marginalize the people of the South if elected.
>To be a northerner, some Nigerians raised the suspicion that an Atiku presidency would mean another opportunity for northerners at the expense of the south.
But, while touring Odeda local government, Aderinokun described Atiku as a unifier.
According to him, Atiku is ready to unite Nigeria, saying “We are one and no one should think that he can marginalize our Nigeria for anything.”
Aderinokun argued that Atiku would not favor either area while neglecting the other.
Speaking further, the Owu Chief also described the PDP gubernatorial candidate in Ogun, Ladi Adebutu as a compassionate man, who is poised to make Ogun State even better by bringing relief to the people of Ogun State.
He noted that Atiku, Adebutu and other PDP candidates can feel "the difficulties that everyone is going through under the current government", saying that "the PDP is ready to improve things with our relief plan ".
