2023: Peter Obi can't win, Obidients will run out of steam soon - Obaseki
Godwin Obaseki, Governor of Edo State, has said that the Labor Party and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, cannot win the 2023 general election.
Obaseki said this on Monday at the inauguration of the Edo State People's Democratic Party Campaign Council in the state.
He also mocked Obi supporters known as "Obidients", saying they would soon run out of steam.
He added that Nigeria would break if the APC wins the 2023 presidential election.
"People who say they are Obidients, of course they will be but they will run out of steam. We know how to manage elections, how many people have been able to do what we do? They can't even train their campaign advice not to talk about having a timetable for the elections, you got it.
“So this election is ours to lose and God’s grace, we won’t lose it. Now we need to get ours in place quickly and then see how we can help other DPP states,” declared the governor.
