2023: Why the Yoruba Nation agitators will not succeed – Akeredolu

“Those who claim the Oodua Nation will not succeed,” the governor said.

"We recognize the right of the people to protest or agitate. But if the police believe your actions are treason, they will arrest and prosecute you.
“It is not at this stage in the history of this country that we will repeat the IPOB in Yoruba land. The opportunity is upon us. We cannot afford to waste this opportunity.< /p>
"We must work to ensure that there is a change of power. The opportunity for the presidency to come to the south, especially to the southwest, is imminent.
“We will not sit back and support anyone who claims Oodua Nation. We will not support them. We fought for this with everything we had. Nigeria will be good.
"The security agencies will defeat those unscrupulous enemies who engage in such frivolous activities. We now have a responsibility to soberly consider the fate of those who gave their lives and those who still give their lives for the unity and peace of this country."
