A word for the BATified, By Femi Fani-Kayode

No matter the price we pay or the suffering we have suffered because of our choice of candidate, we must not be discouraged, we must consider it all a joy and we must continue to move forward because our cause is noble, just and virtuous.

The biggest challenge we face is complacency.

We must take nothing for granted, we must fight for every inch of space and we must fight for every vote.

We must close ranks and not allow anyone or anything to divide us.

We must not underestimate our enemies or the level to which they are willing to descend.

The struggle is hard and the sacrifices many.

We have suffered all kinds of insults, lies, betrayals and persecutions from those who hate us, hate our principal and who do not want good either.

Their hatred is such that it borders on madness: they even target our children, spouses and family members.

These are the kinds of things that have NEVER happened before in the history of our country and in the history of our politics, but they are happy to cross that line.

TEXEM Advert

Yet, whatever their desperation, their wickedness, their lies, their deceptions and their intrigues, remember this: the wind is blowing in our favor.

PDP and Atiku can't stop us.

Labour and Obi can't stop us.

Kogi AD

NNPP and Kwankwaso can't stop us.

Only WE can stop and this must NEVER happen.

As Iago said in Shakespeare's classic play Othello, "it is within ourselves that we are so or so".

Victory is in our hands and we must be lucid and focused to achieve it.

We must never allow our ranks to be split.

We have to keep our eye on the ball.

We need to win votes.

We need to attract and welcome as many waverers and converts as possible into our growing ranks, no matter who they are or what they have said or done in the past.

We should be kind, grateful, charitable, generous, and magnanimous to those who choose to align themselves with our noble cause, whether large or small.

We must back and support our leader, despite the vicious taunts and relentless aggression he has been subjected to from his detractors and despite the heat of the battle.

We must clarify the issues and respond to any attempt to distort, slander, and discredit it.

We must expose the lie and the evil intentions of his adversaries, knowing that he is the only one among all the pretenders who can bring peace, prosperity and unity to our country.

We shouldn't take anything for granted.

No matter the price we pay or the suffering we have suffered because of our choice of candidate, we must not be discouraged, we must consider it all a joy and we must continue to move forward because our cause is noble, just and virtuous.

The lines have fallen for us in nice places and we have a good heritage.

Victory is ours.

It is within sight and together we will enter the Promised Land.

None of us will fall before entering it and we will all live to see it and enjoy it.

BAT will be the next president of Nigeria.

God wills it and the Lord's zeal will make it happen.

Our nation will rise to its place and we will build on the foundations that have been laid over the years...
